In my nearly two years working for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), I was responsible for managing the strategy and content creation for all owned social platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. In addition to earning organic reach and engagement, managing paid advertising on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn with impactful, concrete returns on investment was an additional function of my social media responsibilities. Writing blogs, press releases and copy for collateral and other web pages were also day-to-day tasks. With the guidance of my manager and support of the communications team, I spearheaded concepting promotion strategies for different events and programming offered by the CIE.
